This blog is all about...

This Blog is all about...
Well my family of course! My babies are growing up way to fast and I want to remember everything. This helps, when I remember to update it.

But I also love to cook, take pictures, get crafty, and try new things.

My boys get tired of the same thing over and over again so I am constantly trying new recipes. I have started keeping up with them here. The original links are in each post to give credit to the creators. I add my reviews, changes, and pictures (sometimes).

Happy Holidays!

We hope everyone had very Happy Holidays and a safe and exciting New Year.

We celebrated our first Hanukkah this year. It was exciting and different. It special for us because it's ours. It's something that the three of us can share and experience on our own. Ethan of course thought it was neat because he got eight days of gifts plus gifts on Christmas day because of the rest of Jared's family. He and I had a talk about nine days of presents and he decided that it would be a good idea not to tell people because they might be sad that they only get one day of presents. This year he got the Nintendo DS he has been begging for, Sea Monkeys, a build it yourself Robot, DS games, and of course clothes from us. His other big gift was a skateboard from Jared's cousin Lisa and Paul. I wasn't sure how I felt about it but so far so good. He's lucky that she bought it for him because I never would have.

We had a family get together on Christmas day and ate brunch and a turkey dinner. The brunch is a Gordon tradition and we usually had gone out for dinners but this year we all decided to stay in. It was really nice to have everyone together and watch movies, play games and just spend time together. With every ones busy schedule this doesn't happen as much as it should.

Happy late Thanksgiving

We have so much to be thankful for this year. Everything seems to be falling into place. Jared's doing very well in school, Ethan is growing bigger and smarter everyday, work, and home couldn't be better (*knock on wood*). I love my family so much and everyday I know that love is returned. Here are some pictures from the Thanksgiving holiday.

Amee came in from Germany to say good bye to her father. Aside from the circumstances for her coming the visit was very pleasant. It was nice to see her and to see that she is doing well.

Here are three generations of Muther - Dockery - Gordon girls.

I also got a picture of all of the boys together. Or as together as boys get in pictures!
