My poor hunny has been sick (nauseous) for the past few days. With Ethan he was the one that had the morning sickness and with this one I had about 3 weeks of feeling GREEN, but nothing more. I'm one of the rare breeds that refuses to throw up, it's gross, dirty, nasty and I hate the feeling of it so I simply don't do it unless the choice is not mine to make. Jared on the other hand is one of the breeds that can think of something gross, dirty, or nasty and can get the gag reflex going. Thank goodness Ethan takes after me, because when ever anyone (the animals) in our house gets sick it's me or Ethan that has to clean it up...otherwise there would be two messes instead of one.
I went by the pharmacy yesterday and took everything that I could find that said it could or would help nausea and hauled it to the counter. After telling the pharmacist my story or Jared's story he recommended Dramamine. And after getting home and force feeding him one he was able to eat dinner. I'm hoping that he will take one today to see if it really helps him or not. He's a non believer of medicine unless the doctor gives it to him. I hate seeing him sick because he's not his usual happy go lucky sarcastic self.

This Blog is all about...
Well my family of course! My babies are growing up way to fast and I want to remember everything. This helps, when I remember to update it.
But I also love to cook, take pictures, get crafty, and try new things.
My boys get tired of the same thing over and over again so I am constantly trying new recipes. I have started keeping up with them here. The original links are in each post to give credit to the creators. I add my reviews, changes, and pictures (sometimes).

Week 16 (as of 6/20/09)
We had the first heartbeat listen today. It took them a while to find it and I got all messy with the yucky jelly stuff, but after about 5 minutes of them chasing it down they finally got a good read on it. My theory...your just like your papa and don't like the lime light and run from it, because every time we thought she had it you'd move. :) The reading was good 160 bpm and strong. All good things!!
I've gained 5-6 lbs so far....the books say that is ok, so I will take it and run. Hopefully the lemon bites and cupcakes Jared picked out will disappear and not pile more pounds to my growing ass.

Week 15....the first for sure kicks
I've had bubbles and twitches within the past 2 weeks while taking a bath, but lying in bed this morning was the first for sure start of feeling my baby! After the traumatic beginning (I know; not as bad as some people, but bad enough for me) I've been happy, excited, but very guarded. Today was the first day that I've felt for real "pregnant". Minus the symptoms and all that mess, feeling your baby and knowing that everything is okay is different that hoping that everything is okay. It's very surreal, I've waited for such a long time to have another baby and now that it's here and real it's very......hmmm.....neat (because I can't think of a better word right now)!!!

13 weeks down
My new due date is 12.5.09, so of Saturday I was 13 weeks pregnant. The baby has all of it's limbs in place and finger and toes moving like crazy. It still has an alien size head but at least it's resembling a human now. On BabyCenter.com they let you get weekly looks at how big and what baby is doing. I love it; with Ethan I only had books that would take you month to month. It is truly amazing that every week something changes. Right about now it is about 3 in long and is about the size of a medium shrimp! Crazy, but it's nice to know how to relate the size of your baby to real life things. I think I've only gained about 2-3 lbs, which I think is pretty good. I think one of the books I read mentioned up to 5 lbs by this time.
